Ottawa-area motorcyclists will have a “poker run” on Sunday, May 29 to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa.

The Restore the Ride event includes door prizes, a pig roast, live entertainment and, organizers say, “a great day of fun”.

Registration is $30, but if you collect more than $100 in pledges, you can join the event for free.

Ottawa Renovates, Bounder Magazine and Lagois Design Build Renovate are sponsoring the program.

The Ride begins on May 29 at Habitat GO’s east-end ReStore at 768 Belfast Rd. (behind the Trainyards) with check-in between 7:30-8:30 a.m.

The 200+ km. poker run will include three stops (Cardinal, North Augusta and Smiths Falls) and it will end in North Gower at Lagois Design Build Renovate “for a delicious pig roast, beverages, prizes, raffles and much more.”

For more information and to register see the Habitat Go website.
